It has been awhile – Update
May 4th, 2009
The Hardin family has been busy as usual. April 7th marked our 8 year anniversary in marriage. Wow! It has flown by. I still can remember the first time we met in July of 1999. 4 cities – 5 different places of residence, 5 different cars, 8 jobs between us, and 2 beautiful babies later have been incredible. I love you sweetums.
We have a new addition to our extended family. My brother and his family had their 3rd child. Natalie Grace was born April 15. We went to visit the weekend of April 23. My parents were there as well. We got to see Collin play in his first t-ball game. It was great for us to see everyone. My parents were great, Neil and family were all good. We had some good BBQ as well.
Madiosn and Lauren have been growing like weeds. I can’t believe they are almost 4 and 2. This year has flown by and the girls are changing everyday. They have such great personalities. Madison has been learning away at school, and she has grown up socially so much this year. She got to ride a horse during Texas week at her pre-school. For the record, she would probably not do that with mom and dad. Lauren has been making trips to the library with Grandma and Heypa on Wednesday’s when Madison goes to school. She absolutely loves it. They both love to read and to be read to every chance they get. The Wheel’s on the Bus, anything Dora, If You give a Pig A Pancake, and If You Give a Mouse a Cookie are nightly favorites.
I have interviewed for a couple of jobs in the district, but currently I haven’t landed a new one. More than likely, Iwill be at Frisco High again next year. Spring football is starting tomorrow (May 5) , so I will be working away the next month. I am going to San Antonio later this week for the annual Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Convention.
Kim is off the entire week due to the swine flu pandemic. Lewisville ISD has shut down. As of today, no probable or confirmed cases have been seen in Frisco ISD, so I will continue to work away. Kim’s birthday passed a few weeks back, she is getting ever closer to 40.
Just kidding she turned 33, that is the same age I was when Madison came into our lives. We had a nice dinner with family at Dave and Buster’s She got an ipod for her birthday, and she is excited about moving into the “I” world. Anyway, summer is near, so maybe we will post more often.
